Washington University approached Impact following our presentation on health communications and design at the National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care & Treatment. The University expressed interest in our design approach and digital communications as well as our past performance in the HIV field and with communities of color, including young men who have sex with men (YMSM). Washington University brought Impact on board as a part of their Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), HIV/ AIDS Bureau (HAB), Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) initiative team to support research focused on using social media to better link and retain YMSM in care. Our team designed and developed materials about the project and its findings, supported promotional efforts and helped the organization to generate future funding. Impact also developed design mockups, a replication manual design, marketing one-pager, and breakout graphics for social media. Other work included content development and communications and involvement in dissemination strategy.
